The screenshots on this page show just a few of the screens available in ARCADY 7.   All window positions and sizes are customisable and in these examples we have simply displayed and arranged several windows to give a feel for what is possible.  Some users may prefer to work with one window at a time, or to make use of the built-in tools for storing and managing common window layouts.

The screen below shows the Data Outline, the Junction Diagram, the Glossary Screen (showing details of the currently selected item), the Vehicle Mix screen (in expanded mode) and a Time Graph which in this case shows the variation of RFC (V/C ratio) over time for all four arms.  The user has added a background image to the Junction Diagram but all other graphics are generated by the program.  These include entry flows, turning flows, pedestrian crossings and the relative flow entering, exiting and circulating at each arm, shown by the coloured overlays

In the example below, a double roundabout has been modelled.  The diagram shows the entry and exit flows at each part of the roundabout, including the internal links.  A time graph shows the variation over time of capacity, entry and exit flow at one of the arms.  Such graphs are fully customisable and offer many other features such as charting the variability of any output parameters against any input parameter.  In this example, flows have been entered for three different flow scenarios (AM, Off-peak, PM) and for two different analysis scenarios (different geometric layout options), for different years.  The Summary Results grid in the top-right of the screen shows a summary of roundabout performance for all scenarios together.

ARCADY 7 provides windows that can be customised in many ways.  In the example below, two copies of the Junction Diagram are active, with one showing an overview of the flows at the roundabout, and the other showing a close-up of the numerical values.  The coloured bars represent relative flows and movements and show that, for example, the heaviest single flow is from the north to the east arms (the thick yellow bars).  It also shows that most drivers from the south-west drive straight through the roundabout, with relatively few turning left or right (the blue lines).  This screenshot also shows two Data Grids, showing both geometric inputs and main time segment results at the same time.

The screenshot below shows another view of ARCADY 7, this time with the Junction Diagram depicting Queue Lengths.  The orange arm (leg) is the currently selected item and some of its properties are shown in the Data Editor.   Some of the arms at this roundabout have flares and the red queue length bars take account of these.
