Autodesk Revit Architecture 2012 Essentials Training

Now that the UK Government have announced their strategy to make BIM mandatory on public projects by 2016, the urgency for architects in Ireland to embrace this process and technology has increased, to remain relevant and competitive in the global market. The productivity efficiencies of working in BIM will help provide architects with an opportunity to reduce their production overheads, and deliver better quality information, allowing them to remain competitive and profitable in these difficult times.
In support of the RIAI’s effort to raise the awareness of BIM, and to help RIAI members to build their BIM capabilities, the RIAI have negotiated with four of the main BIM software vendors to offer a limited number of training places at a reduced and consistent rate of €300/€350 per person for a 3-day BIM training course, in November 2011. Thanks to the generosity of the training centres this reduction represents a saving of between 33% and 66% of the standard training cost.

On completion of the 3-day course, each participant will be given the opportunity to complete a short online evaluation of the course, and emailed an Autodesk “Certificate of Completion”, which they can submit on RIAI CPDEngage as part of a “self-defined” CPD activity. Participants can claim 6 Structured CPD points per training day.

This half price training offer is subject to the following conditions:
• To keep course costs low, training materials will be provided to participants to use during the course days, with the option to purchase materials to take away if they wish, but this is not a requirement.
• Only refreshments (coffee/tea/water) will be provided during the training session. Participants will be required to make their own arrangements for lunch.
• This offer is provided on the basis that classes of at least 6 people are filled, so dates may be re-arranged to accommodate this.
This training is not provided by the RIAI and the trainers on these courses are not accredited by the RIAI. The RIAI is not responsible for the content of external courses, websites, information, booking or payment.

Trainers on this course are accredited by Autodesk.
